Meet Coach KJ

Playing Career & Foundation

Coach KJ has over 27 years in the game as a player and coach.

At Iolani School, he was a four-year varsity letterman and helped lead the program to its first undefeated season while earning recognition as one of the top players in the state.

He later competed at the collegiate level with the University of San Francisco and San Francisco State University, experiences that shaped his understanding of elite-level training and player development.

Achievements & Recognition

Coach KJ earned multiple honors for his performance and leadership on the field, including:

Hawaii Gatorade Player of the Year
Offensive Player of the Year
Two-time First Team All-State
Two-time First Team All-ILH

In 2012, he was also selected as Hawaii's representative for Nike "The Chance," competing among top young players from around the world in Barcelona, Spain.
